Deal Alert: The Hoka Bondi 8 Is On Sale For Its Lowest Price Ever

If you’re a fan of Hoka sneakers, you may have heard that the brand’s newest design, the Bondi 9, launched last week. Like clockwork the previous generation, the Hoka Bondi 8, dropped to a new low price of $115. Thanks to ample cushioning and support, the sneaker is one of the brand’s most popular designs. It originally sold for $165, but right now you can pick up both men’s and women’s styles for up to 30% off. Just know that certain sizes and colorways have already sold out, so you’ll want to shop soon. Now that the Bondi 9 is out, we don’t expect to see restocks of the Bondi 8 once the current supply is gone.

The Bondi 8 has been a crowd favorite for years. Though the chunky sneaker isn’t ideal for speed, its thick cushioning and bouncy foam sole make it extremely comfortable for long walks and everyday wear. The style has already been removed from Hoka’s site to make way for the Bondi 9, so here’s where you can still find it for 30% off.

Hoka Bondi 8 Deal: Save 30% On The Women's Version

Hoka Bondi 8 Sneaker (Women's)

Thanks to the 30% price drop, the Bondi 8 has started to sell out at multiple retailers. Dick’s Sporting Goods has the best supply right now—it has 22 colorways in stock, though sizing is very limited for some. REI also has some available for $1 less, but sizes are much more limited and the store only has four colors to choose from. If you can’t find what you want at Dick’s Sporting Goods or REI, Nordstrom has the sneaker available for 20% off in select sizes and colors as well.

If you’re shopping for the men’s Bondi 8, you can choose from a wide variety of sizes and colorways at Dick’s Sporting Goods. REI and Nordstrom are also offering some deals on the shoe, but sizing and colors are limited from both retailers.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What Are Hoka Bondi 8s Best For?

Bondi 8s are best for light running, walking and everyday wear. They feature thick cushioning, a bouncy foam sole and a rear crash pad for smoother walking and running. You can log hundreds of miles in this design, just keep in mind that it’s rather chunky so it won’t be great for speed work or race day.

Are Hoka Bondi 8s Good For Knees?

The Bondi 8s are supportive shoes, and many reviewers say that wearing them has improved their knee and joint pain throughout the day. “As someone with foot, ankle and knee injuries, the Bondi has given me the support and comfort my body needs to continue to live an active lifestyle,” one reviewer writes.

What Is The Difference Between The Bondi 8 And Bondi 9?

Like the Bondi 8, the newest iteration of the sneaker is a great everyday trainer with plenty of cushion and support. That said, the Bondi 9 features more cushion, an extra 2 millimeters in height, a molded collar that hugs your ankle and a knitted upper for improved fit and breathability.

Do Podiatrists Recommend Hokas?

Yes, a number of Hoka designs are recommended by podiatrists. Many of the brands styles have earned the American Podiatric Medical Association Seal of Acceptance, which indicates that they promote foot health.
